Exercise Classes

Because we recognize that everyone has different fitness levels, Saw Mill Club is excited to offer classes for all of our members’ needs.  Our professional and friendly Group Exercise instructors are here to help you reach your own personal goals in a fun way

Ballroom Dance
Learn how to dance…make friends…have fun! All levels welcome – no partner required.

Boot Camp Basics
A one hour class filled with cardio and strength calisthenics designed to push you to the limit. Jump rope, Bosu push ups, sprints, abdominals, mini medicine ball drills and weights. NO choreography! Strictly drills! Be on time and be prepared to sweat.

Bootylicious
A real butt-building intense workout that focuses on building a beautiful booty, tightening your thighs and strengthening your core.

BOSU Bodysculpt
And you thought floorwork (bodysculpting) was only done on a mat! Experience the new wave of bodysculpting using the dome shaped BOSU ball. Non-impact workout to firm & strengthen your entire body.

Cardio TRX
We mix the jumpsport trampoline and the BOSU with the TRX and keep it moving. Resistance training combined with cardio jumping that is gentle on the joints but kickass for your glutes! (and no, nobody falls off). Your feet do not have to leave the trampoline to reap the benefits. You will love feeling like a kid again!

Dance for Joy
Explore Merangue, Rhumba, Latin beats, the Hustle and Rock and Roll in this new dance class designed especially for Seniors who are ready to graduate from the faster , louder dance classes and are looking for a fun way to exercise. Enjoy the benefits of dance for your body and soul.

Fitness Stretch~ Release the tension in your muscles and nervous system. Enhance your ability to flow in your cardiovascular and strength training.

Gentle Body Flow
A gentle approach to exercise for those who prefer low weights and low volume. Many exercises done with support of a chair. But that doesn’t stop you from moving! In addition to keeping the heart, muscles and bones strong and flexible, exercise can combat depression, osteoporosis and high blood pressure.

Inner Strength
This class,taught by highly acclaimed instructors Denise Walker and Nancy Singer combines strength training, core conditioning, and stretching to produce long, lean muscles and a perfectly toned body. It is a non-impact, intense workout taught to energetic, motivating music. Using a ballet barre, light weights and floor mats, you will work every muscle group in this one-hour body changing fitness experience.

Interval Aerobics
A class that alternates intervals of strength training with multi impact aerobic choreography.

Interval Energiser
“Easy to follow” multi – impact cardiovascular training. Kick your heart rate up while building muscle with weights, balance work and flexibility all within a cardio interval workout. No experience necessary! All levels welcome.

Power Plus
This is glutes at their max! Lunges squats and weights mixed with tons of fun. Low on impact. High on energy.

Smartbells
Enjoy a low-impact workout using Smartbells, Balance Balls, and Bodybars to sculpt and tone your body. All levels welcome.

Strength Interval~ medium paced Power Interval class using the step, weights and bodybar. Non-stop movement using a little heavier weight and mixed with short cardio intervals. Push yourself to new levels of conditioning while strengthening major muscle groups.

Strength & Motion
In real life, how often do you stand still and perform a bicep curl? This resistance training class is designed to strengthen and tone all major muscle groups by combining low impact, controlled movement with low weights. The emphasis will be to incorporate functional movement with resistance to prepare us for everyday life.

TRX Interval
The TRX suspension trainer uses your body weight to increase strength and flexibility. Alternate this intense strength work with a non impact cardio spurts on the trampoline, gliders or floor. Can be intense or easy. Basic moves with degrees of difficulty added with your own body positioning. You control your workout! Like nothing you’ve tried before.

TRX Small Group Training
Sign up to learn the TRX before entering a class. Join a TRX small group of 4-6 people to learn the techniques needed to enter a class. Once technique is learned, you can take the workout to the class or to more intermediate and advanced moves. The TRX is used by professionals to get that intense quick strength work without ever leaving our core behind. Added flexibility is gained just by holding the handles while extending your arms or legs. Looks simple yet works deeply and quickly. You may walk in to a group in progress or talk to the GE Director to form another group at a time that works for you. Fee Based

Yoga
Yoga is an ancient form of movement promoting balance, flexibility and relaxation. Different styles of yoga emphasize different aspects of the practice. Many are represented here at Saw Mill Club. Enjoy each instructor’s specialty!

Zumba
A Latin inspired dance class that will have you smiling and laughing to a slimmer more shapely you! all levels welcome.

Zumba Gold
Zumba Gold is a slower paced Zumba specially designed for the  advanced age group, beginners to Zumba and those who want to learn the steps before they take on a Zumba class. Explore the fun, excitment and dance movements that the Latin flavor of salsa, merengue, cumbia, etc. has to offer with the benefits of improving their cardio, gaining flexibility, increasing range of motion, learning balance awareness and toning.

Zumbatomics
Designed exclusively for kids (ages 5-10), Zumbatomic classes are rockin’, high-energy fitness-parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love, like hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia and more. Parents love Zumbatomic because of the effects it has on kids, increasing their focus and self-confidence, boosting metabolism and enhancing coordination

Spinning
An intense 45–75 minute cardiovascular workout and a complete mind/body training system. On your stationary bike, join us as we guide you on a journey over imaginary terrain and through outdoor environments. In this class, music stimulates you, excites you, and allows you to determine the difficulty of the ride. Open to all levels. Sign-up is required.

Cycle Spin
A spin class with an outdoor riders mentality. Consistent balanced long distance spin to mimic an outdoor ride.

Endurance Video Spin
90 minutes of interval video spin. You can do it! Whether you are training for a race or just want to test your endurance, you will leave this class feeling like you have accomplished your goal. The video helps distract you when you feel like you want to give up and motivate you when you want to amp it up. Take the challenge.  You’ll be glad you did!

Studio Spin
Spin for the Cardio Enthusiast. Musical choice of the instructor

Spintastic
A spin class that adds a little upper body work with resistance tubing intervals on the bike. This is a party! Bring your happy hour enthusiasm and enjoy the ride.

Party Spin
Laugh, sing and have fun! All levels welcome to this non intimidating, friendly and inspirational spin class. Fitness disguised as fun!

Video Spin
Spin to the videos playing on the 72 inch Flat screen HDTV. Lots of energy. Lots of fun.
