  Marissa will join the Explorers class for a year of fun, learning and discovery. Marissa received her degree from Teachers College at Columbia University and has many years of experience teaching young children in a classroom setting. She is an organized, child-centered, warm person who is passionate about working with children. Currently, she spends much of her time volunteering and giving back to her community.  She is beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to be back in the classroom and we feel very fortunate to be able to have her join

Research shows that yoga benefits adolescents physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and increases their focus and concentration at school allowing them to work to their full potential! In this workshop, Satveer will educate teens on the importance of emotional well being. She will teach strategies of coping with stress, releasing negative emotions, and the benefits of a regular yoga and meditation practice.
