This summer, The Westchester Chess School will be holding a series of one week camps at Saw Mill Club. Students can sign up for one week, or up to two weeks. Camp runs 10:00am – 4:00pm daily.  Week 1: August 21–25 Week 2: Aug 28–Sept 1 Camp is taught by veteran chess player and teacher, Peter Barkman. Students will alternate periods of chess study and chess games with breaks for physical activity in the pool and basketball court. Join us in congratulating Michelle on her well deserved promotion to this newly created position at the club. Michelle has 10 years of experience teaching yoga and has received extensive training and certifications in anatomy, Vinyasa and Prana flow styles, and Ayurvedic Yoga therapy. Since 2009, Michelle has helped elevate the personal yoga journeys of SMC members, one flow at a time. Her passion for designing rewarding yoga experiences has helped the program grow

Saw Mill Club aquatics swim team STORM won 1st Place in the 2017 Greater Tampa Swim Association Championship Meet held recently in Tampa, Florida. STORM's 63 swimmers beat out 16 competing teams from across the country and achieved a total team score of 2,055. STORM's winning score is 567 points higher than the score of Greater Tampa Swim Association's home team, who took home second place with a total of 1,488 points earned by its 121 swimmers. STORM's high point individual winners were Davia Richardson (8 & Under Girls); Haley Penn (9-10
