New SMC Director of Tennis

We are pleased and excited to introduce Zuka Mukhuradze as Saw Mill Club’s new Director of Tennis. Previously our Assistant Director of Tennis, Zuka’s tennis pedigree and experience is outstanding.

For over a decade, Zuka has worked with some of the top Juniors in the nation and continues to do so still. He founded the Edge Junior Tennis program at the club nine years ago and has grown it into the area’s top instructional destination. Many Edge graduates have gone on to play collegiate tennis, including Division 1 college tennis teams and some even on the professional tour. More importantly, Zuka and the Edge program have created a fun and nurturing environment for the next generation of tennis players in the area.

As an active instructor and participant in the Saw Mill Club tennis scene, Zuka is already familiar with many of our members. He is excited about this new opportunity, and will be looking at every aspect of our current programs with an eye toward making them even more fun and accessible, so that all of you will be able to better enjoy the great game of tennis.

Please feel free to stop by the tennis office and congratulate Zuka the next time you’re at the club.

Yoga 101 Workshops

Yoga 101

with Wendy Hagen, ERYT 500 hr

You’ve heard all the buzz about the benefits of Yoga, but you may feel uncomfortable going right in to an Open-Level class.
Created specifically for students with absolutely no yoga experience who are interested in safely building flexibility, stamina and strength.
You’ll learn proper alignment and simple modifications of some of the most common poses and breathing techniques.
We will move at a slower pace than regular classes and time will be given for Q& A.
This is not a series, however, feel free to attend all 4 dates.
