Flamenco Dance Lessons

Spanish/Flamenco Dance and Music

Flamenco Dance is a highly-expressive and passionate form of dance from “Andalucia“, the southern part of Spain known for its rhythmic stomping of the feet and emotional movements of the arms and hands accompanied by Flamenco Guitar music and singing, performed in beautiful and colorful costumes.

Percussion is provided by the heels and balls of the feet striking the floor and sometimes castanets are held in the hands and clicked together rapidly to the rhythm of the music. In class dancers will learn choreographed dances in different forms of Flamenco plus Technique. We also learn about the other aspects of Flamenco such as music and Cante.

Dance Arts at Saw Mill Club offers dance education with “dedication to vision and assurance of excellence” for all students from early childhood to adult.

Youth Dance

The dance season runs from mid September through May (Memorial Day Weekend). Students enroll for the entire season. The season ends with our annual Spring Concerts. We also offer an extended dance program throughout the month of June for students who wish to participate. Click HERE for more information

Little Fig Stage


Little Fig is a theater company dedicated to the development and performance of original plays and musicals as well as the development of performers of all ages.

Little Fig has teamed up with Saw Mill Club in Mount Kisco, NY and Michael Sgouros of The Players Theatre in New York City, to bring Northern Westchester a program where teens interested in musical have the opportunity to perform their work in an Off Broadway Theatre (The Players Theatre) in NYC.

Marci Elyn Schein Michael Ficocelli

Marci and Michael have been developing and premiering new musicals over the past two decades. In addition to their work on original musicals, Marci and Michael have directed over 50 classic musicals some of which include: Company, Fiddler on the Roof, High School Musical, Seussical, Annie. They’ve worked with casts of all ages from novices through professionals.
