Beginners Yoga Workshop
February 1st and 8th • 1-3pm
with Becky Jensen in Studio C
Have you wanted to try out a yoga class but feel unsure about whether you will be able to follow along? This 2-part workshop is for beginners and those that want a more thorough review of the fundamentals. We will break down the basic poses focusing on alignment, breathing and appropriate modifications of poses. You will leave with the knowledge you need to step into a Hatha Yoga class with confidence.

Bring your questions, goals, concerns, and your “story” with you to Saw Mill Club’s monthly free orientation for the yoga–curious. Bring family and friends, no need to be a member to attend the orientation.

Enjoy Valentine’s Day with a lighthearted and playful exploration in Partner Yoga. The art of partnering is less about skillful technique and more about mindful communication and emotional intelligence. This workshop is open to all levels of practitioners. We will explore aspects of balance, flexibility, strength, and gentleness that honors you and your partner. An enriching experience for you and your child, close friend, intimate partner, or arrive solo and a partner will be found for you!
