Explorers
The students are working on writing the letters of the alphabet and sounding them out. They are doing very well with their writing and their work in their Redbooks.

The class is going to put on a holiday performance on Tuesday December 23, 2008. It will be held in the music room and will take place at 11:00 a.m.

The class is learning a musical dance with their music teacher Norbert. The parents are invited back to the class for our holiday party. If anyone is interested in bringing something in for the party the sign up sheet will be above the cubicles.

Adventurers
Adventurers will be learning about the holidays that this month brings.  We will be discussing the change in weather as well as our next season, winter.

We will also be working on letters J-L. Our color this month will be orange.  Please bring in five (5) cut outs for our color collages.

Our Winter Party will be Monday December 22.  All are welcome to attend from 10:00am-12:00pm.

Seekers
This is a month for learning about sharing, giving, and the different holidays that families celebrate.

Throughout the month we will be learning the importance of giving by “donating”. If anyone  would like to donate mittens or gloves, it would be appreciated. All gloves will be donated to a local charity.

Our holiday party will be on Friday December 19. As always, all children are welcome to celebrate with us during the party.
