Prenatal Yoga – A Gift You Can Give To Yourself
Prenatal yoga helps women through the evolutionary process of pregnancy by providing a healthy physical and emotional outlet for one’s experiences, allowing the opportunity for inward reflection and connection with the life growing inside them, and ultimately preparing one for birth on a holistic level. It is also a wonderful opportunity to connect with other pregnant women who are sharing similar experiences.
On a physical level, there are many benefits to prenatal yoga:
- Increases overall strength, flexibility & well-being
- Reduces low back pain & sciatica
- Reduces aches & fatigue in the thoracic & cervical regions of the spine
- Reduces swelling & inflammation around your joints
- Aids in digestion
- Helps prepare you physically for giving birth
Classes will begin Friday July 10th
Monday evenings at 7pm
Friday mornings at 10:45am
The class is 1 hour 15 min
The class will be $15 for members and $25 for non members.
This workshop will allow you to explore yoga in a safe environment with attention given to the specific needs and sometimes restrictions of the pregnant body.
