John,

Below is a note that Eric typed.  Since the ceremony, Eric has been
practicing his forms at home (which is a first), and talking much more
seriously about Taekwondo.  The experience clearly has raised his
motivation level.

From an adult’s perspective, it was also very impressive.  It was quite a
privilege to see the skill and focus that you and your colleagues have
achieved.  Speaking for Rosemary and myself, we are very lucky that Eric
has the opportunity to train with you.  He clearly has gained great
experience in martial arts, and all your patience and guidance have yielded
those valuable lessons about discipline, etiquette, respect, and
self-confidence.

Sincere Thanks,

David and Rosemary

Thank you for inviting me to watch the promotion ceremony.  All the black
belts were great.  I was impressed by you breaking the wood with your head.
Thank you for letting me help.  It made me proud to be part of the class.

Here is a copy of the picture my dad took.

Thank you,

Eric
