Registration and Program Requirements:
Athletic Readiness Questionnaire
Complete athletic skills assessment.
Running shoes and loose fitting workout gear.
Minimum number of three registered participants needed.
Footspeed for Tennis
This new tennis specific functional training program, designed by Master Trainer, John Albanese, and Tennis Pro, Kevin Higgins, will improve the footwork and body positioning in your game.The program incorporates cutting edge training techniques, such as the agility/speed ladder, multi-directional cone running, plyometrics, jump rope, balance training, and dynamic functional flexibility.
Saw Mill Club’s top junior players are now using this innovative training regimen and achieving fantastic results.
Martial Arts Program: Adult & Youth
Saw Mill Club offers Martial Arts training, through Instructor John Albanese, 4th Degree Black Belt. John has been practicing Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do for over 20 years and received his Black Belt Instructor’s certification in 1987. Class size limited to 3 to 5 Students MAXIMUM with rolling admission.
The Korean Art of Stick Fighting
The “Dan Bong” or “short stick” is the definitive weapon of Hap Ki Do. Learn practical techniques, which may be utilized for self defense with any implement of comparable size the defender can get their hands on in a life threatening situation. This program teaches basic blocks, strikes, stances, forms, and realistic combat
applications, all conducted in a safe and controlled manner.Pre-registration and instructor’s permission required prior to enrollment.
Students must purchase their own stick. Private and semi-private classes also available.
Boxing for Fitness & Friday Night Fights
This workout is the non-contact part of a boxer’s workout. Learn to hit the heavy and speed bags, jump rope, shadow box and more. Great for developing strength, rhythm, hand and foot speed, eye-hand coordination and it is a great stress reliever! All skill levels welcome.
