October 25th 2008 Side Walk Angels, Furry Tail Event

“It was called “A Furry Tail Evening” and was held at the beautiful Saw Mill Club. Marisol and Rob Thomas wanted to do something to support Pets Alive. Coming into the event, we literally had $5000 in our checking account. Without this event…..Pets Alive would have been saying goodbye. Pets Alive will save almost 1000 animals this year.

So let me tell you more about the night. The word “enchanting” comes to mind. The rooms were so beautiful. The lighting was spectacular….. created a mystical, magical atmosphere. It was truly stunning.

Beer Tasting ~ What fun events these are, people are anxious to learn more about the history and complexity of beer. Don’t miss the Fall and Spring tastings.

Wine Tasting~ Music, food and  wines from around the world.  It is always a pleasure to have terrific wine purveyors share the latest offerings with us…and a few favorites from great years and regions of the world. .

Book Signing~  Authors of newly released books are always on the calendar. Please contact special events for schedule.

Lecture Series~ Several outside experts are scheduled to speak weekly on topical subjects related to exercise, health and sports free of charge to our members and guests. Such topics may include nutrition, aging, stress, legal issues and many current relevant topics. Offered all year long.

Membership Parties~ Come and meet other members of the club! Barbecue, Carnival, Music, Dancing…look for the dates of upcoming parties, lots of fun.

Corporate Meetings
Make your next meeting a different one in a different style and setting. Add basketball, massage, swimming and tennis to the agenda and see more productive results from attendees. Mix business and health and see what happens.
